چکیده

Abstract Because of their extreme heterogeneity at multiple scales, carbonate rocks present a great challenge for studying and managing oil reservoirs. Depositional processes diagenetic alterations carbonates may have produced very complex pore structures and, consequently, variable fluid storage flow properties hydrocarbon To understand the impact mineralogy on system, we analyzed four rock samples (coquinas) from Morro do Chaves Formation in Brazil. For this study, used thin sections XRD mineralogical characterization, together with routine core analysis, NMR, MICP microCT petrophysical characterizations. The revealed similar porosity values but considerably different permeabilities. Samples relatively high quartz content (terrigenous material) generally had lower permeabilities, mostly caused by more mineral fragmentation. little or no turn exhibited permeabilities due to less fragmentation actions (e.g., dissolution shells). Results confirm that minerals are susceptible diagenesis, leading modifications body throat sizes, creating pores classified as moldic vug pores, even clogging them. one samples, acquired detailed skeleton information based images obtain complete understanding its structural characteristics.

Nmr Petrophysical Predictions on Digitized Core Images

NMR is a popular logging technique used to estimate pore size information, formation permeability, wettability and irreducible water saturation. Quantitative interpretation of NMR data is based on a set of fundamental assumptions (e.g., pore isolation and fast diffusion). These assumptions establish the quantitative link between NMR response and petrophysical predictions. While there is a need ...

Initial Measurements of Petrophysical Properties on Rocks from the Los Azufres , Mexico , Geothermal Field

Petrophysical properties of geothermal reservoir rocks are valuable information for many activities, including reservoir characterization, modelling, field test analysis and planning of exploitation techniques. Petrophysical data of rocks from geothermal reservoirs located in volcanic areas is in general very scarce. In particular, no petrophysical data of rocks from the Los Azufres geothermal ...

some properties of fuzzy hilbert spaces and norm of operators

in this thesis, at first we investigate the bounded inverse theorem on fuzzy normed linear spaces and study the set of all compact operators on these spaces. then we introduce the notions of fuzzy boundedness and investigate a new norm operators and the relationship between continuity and boundedness. and, we show that the space of all fuzzy bounded operators is complete. finally, we define...
